The Process
Working Together
Inquiry + Chat
When you submit an inquiry, I’ll reach out to you to schedule an in-person or online chat. Based on the information provided, I’ll create a custom proposal for you to review. During the chat, we’ll get specific on paper options, design styles, and any additional elements you’d like to include.
To continue on to design, a 50% deposit is required.
Design + Print
Now that I understand what you like, I’ll begin designing your custom invitation. Typically, I design the main invitation card first and send you 2-3 design options. Once we’ve nailed down the main invitation design, I will design the rest of the wedding stationery to match. We will work together to perfect your invitation before you receive a final digital proof of your invitation to approve.
Once I have your approval, I’ll order the supplies needed and begin the 2-4 week process of printing your wedding stationery!.
Completion + Pickup
Your invitations are ready to go! You can pick up your invitations in person or request to have them shipped to you. (You may find more shipping information in the FAQs below.)
Final payment is due at pick up or before
shipping.

FAQs
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I PLACE MY WEDDING INVITATION ORDER?
I advise you to begin the process at least 4 months before your wedding.
This includes 4-6 weeks to design and print your invitation suite; time for you to stuff, seal, and address your invitations; as well as send your invitations the recommended 8 weeks prior to your wedding (maybe more if your guest list includes people from out of town).
If you are a little behind, no worries! Contact me — I’m more than willing to see if it’s still possible to complete your wedding invitations in time.
I HAVE A SPECIFIC PAPER I LIKE. CAN WE USE IT?
If the paper is coated, it will not accept the letterpress ink. However, I’m not opposed to printing on a customer's own paper. If you bring it to our chat, I’ll see if I can make it happen!
HOW MANY INVITATIONS SHOULD I ORDER?
It is easy to look over this information in the hustle and bustle of wedding planning, but not every guest gets an invitation. When you consider families and couples, the invitation count is usually 60 - 75% of the final guest count. In addition, it is recommended to add 15% extra invitations for any last-minute additions to your guest list (and keepsakes).
WILL YOU SEND THE ENVELOPES TO MY CALLIGRAPHER TO BE HAND-LETTERED?
Yes, envelopes with return address hand-lettering can be shipped to your calligrapher ahead of time for an additional fee of $50 plus shipping (if schedule allows).
ARE YOU ABLE TO SHIP MY INVITATION SUITE?
Yes, while I do not mail your invitations to your guests, I am able to ship your invitation suite to you. The cost of shipping and handling within the continental US is on average $25 per order and will be shipped using UPS or USPS.
